My Profile
Laura joined Constable VAT Consultancy in 2008 and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser with the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) in 2011.
Working with a broad spectrum of businesses, ranging from sole practitioners to large multinationals, as well as charities and not-for profit organisations, has broadened her professional experience and given Laura exposure to a wide range of different VAT issues across industry sectors.
Laura became a partner in April 2020 and advises on all aspects of VAT, with a particular interest in land and property, as well as working with accountants and solicitors, utilising her experience to provide practical solutions to their clients’ problems. Laura has represented clients at both the First Tier Tax Tribunal and through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) with HMRC.
Laura oversees Constable VAT’s VAT Focus on Land and Property and has also written VAT articles for external publications including Civil Society and Charity Finance.
Away from the office Laura enjoys travelling and long dog walks in the countryside.
